CrawlPact

Changelog

Meaningful CrawlPact product, reliability, security, and content improvements are recorded here after they are deployed and verified.

Two separate kinds of change are tracked here. A registry release reflects new information about crawlers — it is never a change to your website (FR-REG-009/010). A product entry reflects a change to CrawlPact itself.

Registry releases

See methodology for how registry entries are verified, and the crawler directory for current entries.

  1. 7/28/2026

    Registry 2026.07.3(active)

Full registry: 21 crawlers across 9 operators, each source-verified against the operator's own published documentation (see docs/registry/SOURCE_VERIFICATION_POLICY.md).

Product

  1. 2026-07-22

Engineering foundation and public audit (Part 1)

Repository governance, architecture decisions, design system, database schema, the public website shell, the safe-fetch scanner chokepoint, robots.txt parsing, and the initial crawler registry were established.

  2. 2026-07-23

Policy engine, accounts, monitoring, and billing (Part 2)

The Policy Health Score, conflict detection, findings, presets, passkey accounts, scheduled monitoring with semantic-drift detection, notifications, and Paddle billing shipped, making CrawlPact a real, usable product rather than a landing page.

  3. 2026-07-24

Super Admin, agency features, and SEO content (Part 3)

A full Super Admin control center (users, subscriptions, webhooks, domains/scans, scheduler health, registry/ruleset administration, findings analytics, security operations, runtime configuration), agency batch import and report branding, an expanded public crawler directory, and genuinely scoped free tools shipped.

Analytics preferences

CrawlPact uses optional Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity on public marketing pages to understand which content is useful and how visitors actually use it. Neither is used in the authenticated app or admin areas. You can accept or decline analytics without affecting the service.
